As a comic writer (yes I am boldly calling myself that) there will always be the sinking feeling that somebody has alreay done you comic.
I can almost picture a very similar scenario done by somebody else.
But I can't remember who, so who cares?
Me talking to myself:"Time to wake up sleepyhead. It's a brand new day."
Me:"I'll wear my contacts today."
Me:"But I'll still wear these frames w/o lenses so people recognize my character."
Me:"There we go. Ready to start another day in comic land that looks like every other day"
Me:"I'm bored. What do you say we go mess w/ the horned creature?"
Ogremonger:"I don't think that's a good idea Riley." He has some strange awesome powers."
Me:"Awesome let's go."
Ogremonger:"Wait, not that kind of awesome."
Me:"Hey Horned Creature! I heard your mother was a reindeer"
Tense silence
Pop
Me:"Why did you tell me that was a good idea O.G.?"
Ogremonger:"I tried to warn you . . ."
Horned Creature:"#@!!$!*% mutter mutter"
